Yoga and Mindfulness intensive
Co-facilitated by mindfulness meditation teacher Paola Vais and Yoga and Movement teacher, Claire Osborne.
Yoga, movement, sitting and walking meditation, yoga nidra, with time indoors and outdoors.
This popular retreat is now in it’s third year, and has been extended to 4 days, due to popular demand. Immerse yourself deeply into the present moment in this beautiful location, surrounded by the traquil surroundings of sea and sky.
We start of the Thursday evening at 6pm with registration and dinner, followed by a gentle practice to help you arrive and settle to sleep. We will end 3.30pm on the Monday, in time for the 4pm ferry off the island.
Sample of daily schedule:
7.30-9am asana (physical movement).
9-10.30 breakfast and free time.
10.30am-1pm Sitting and moving meditation. Discussion of theories behind the practice.
1-4.30pm lunch and free time.
4.30-6pm meditation and yoga nidra (restorative rest)
6-8pm dinner and free time.
8-9.30pm Gentle restorative asana and meditation.
There will be periods of silence during the retreat.
Suitable for all levels of experience.
Fully residential, including vegetarian meals.
Kayaking trips and massage treatments are available at an extra cost.
Cost €590, fully residential. Max 12 participants. 3 single rooms are available on request, for an additional €80.
